Planet Parecon is a blog aggregator about Parecon and Parsoc. That means, we collect blogs about Participatory Economics and Participatory Society, and put all the blog posts together onto a single webpage. Planet Parecon is a place for activists to share what's on their mind, to riff off of each other's ideas, and learn from each other's experiences and wisdom. You can post in-depth articles about why you think parecon is great, half-formed ideas for activism, report-backs on a lecture you gave or heard, or a story about a funny thing your kid did or happened to you at work. It's not (only) a place for polished articles, nor is it a forum or mailing list with back-and-forth discussion. It's more like a brainstorm, where you can see what's on the mind of other parecon activists and what's going on in PPS's around the world at any given time.
If you want to learn more about Parecon, check out the links along the sidebar.
To have your blog aggregated at Planet Parecon, send Dan an email with the URL of your blog and a little information about yourself. There are a few basic rules:
Planet doesn't take much effort to run, so we don't really need much help. On the other hand, if you have ideas for how to improve it, shoot an e-mail on over to Dan.
Planet is hosted through the generosity of Agaric Design and especially Benjamin Melanon, an awesome person who gives a damn. The site could not run if not for the Planet software, which is generously distributed as free software, by awesome people.
