Who we are
APPS is about Values, Vision, and Strategy.- Our values are the answers to the question: "What do you want?" They are the concepts we hold dear, the things worth fighting for. For us, these include equity, solidarity, diversity, and self-management.
- Our vision is how we can accomplish these values in society. For example, we advocate Participatory Economics as a new economic system, different from capitalism and different from Marxism, designed from the ground-up to reflect our values.
- Our strategy is the best way to get from the society we have today to the one we want tomorrow.
You can learn more about the ideas behind APPS by reading some articles we have selected, and find other groups that share our values here in Austin and around the world.
